The Solberg P90  has an Ash body with belly and arm cut a ways, a 7.5″ radius vintage maple neck, 21 frets and locking machine heads. So you may be asking what is a p90 pick up ? Being a single-coil design, the tone of a P-90 is somewhat brighter and more transparent than a humbucker, though not quite as crisp and snappy as Fender’s single-coil pickups. The tone therefore shares some of the single coil twang, but having large amounts of mid-range and often described as thick.

Electronics boast two TBX tone pots with 220 ohms resistor for smoother tone transition. One pot on the neck pickup and a second TBX for middle and bridge pickups. The volume pot has a tone bleed rig to retain highs at low volume. The pick up switch is the standard 5 way strat type. All fittings are vintage style and the color is a Burgundy red water stain so the wood grain is visible and finished with 12 coats of Nitrocellulose lacquer.

The Solberg P90 Stratocaster. This is a small film I put together with the Jester. I am using a touch of the Voodoo labs Sparkel drive stomp box on this one but I think it work really well.
